Is It Early Menopause?

Early menopause is also more correctly called premature ovarian failure. During this time, your body is showing signs and symptoms of menopause but you are actually too young to be going through this condition. Why is it happening and should you be concerned? Learning if it is menopause that is happening too early is something you should be doing.

In terms of age, if you are in your early 40’s or are younger then you could be considered experiencing early menopause because menopause generally does not happen until after this point. Technically speaking, if you have no menstruation for a total of 12 months, then you are in premature menopause if this happens before you turn 45. This condition can happen both naturally and through surgical means. If it does happen naturally, it is known as premature ovarian failure which simply means that your ovaries are not working they way that they are supposed to be working. How To Conquer Menopause!

In women that this happens to too early, the need for answers is a must. Some doctors will determine that you just have an early cycle that your menopausal cycle is just happening before it would to others.
